At the KunstVlaai we will show a presentation of the Europa Neurotisch shows with works from Szacsva y Pál (HR), Philippe Terrier-Hermann (FR), Paula Muhr (DE), Romain Sein (FR), Cornelius Onitsch (DE), Felice Hapetzeder (AT/SE), OPA (Slobodanka Stevceska & Denis Saraginovski) (MK), Andreas Gedin (SE), Irena Paskali (MK).
In our former space we curated twice a show called ‘Europa Neurotisch’. Exhibitions with selected video works from all over Europe that offered an eclectic look at the whole concept of Europe. The political, personal, social works dealt with micro or macro Europe. At Kunstvlaai 2010 in Amsterdam we show ‘The Best Of’ in a cinema, a black box of 16m2, an installation called ‘16 Quadratmeter Europa Neurotisch’.
Next to this we publish an A5 magazine with texts and images that reflect or represent ideas of Europe from artists. The idea behind this publication is to push the concept of the ‘Europa Neurotisch’ show a bit further into the world, and specifically Europe. The Kunstvlaai is the place to do this since it is a gathering of art spaces and artists from all around.
